Is there a way to check out devices that are already assigned to a student? For example we can't unassign a device when we check them in because our mdm reassigns them overnight and we don't want to turn that off.

I think iiQ views assigned and checked out as essentially the same. What data are you trying to capture by doing a check out for a device that’s assigned?

However, please keep in mind because you are automatically updating owner in iiQ based on User ID in the MDM it is always going to revert back to whatever is being synced to iiQ from the MDM
