How do you handle laptop charger inventory and fees?

Hello, @S.Horton! I wish I could be more of a help, but this process is generally all manual. Similarly to a student returning a damaged device at check-in. One would need to manually go in and add the fee and/or in this case, the missing charger. Another option could be to add a custom field with a yes/no switch for a charger, stylus, etc. - if only certain people are receiving those and populate from an import. However, I am not sure this would be the most efficient idea for your situation. 

Like Deborah said, I think manually is the only option right now.

It’d be nice if there was a sort of work flow during the check in process where you can add damages and note a missing charger and it would automatically assign a fee to the user based on what input you give

Our IT team was discussing this issue today in our weekly meeting. We used TipWeb in the past for CB inventory management and, with all its shortcomings, it did allow you to account for chargers in the check in process. I’m surprised IIQ still  doesn’t offer a simple way to do this. Just a simple checkbox would do.   

I’m trying to add linked assets today and reading through these comments. As usual, I am surprised by the 2 YEAR DELAY in something that could be an extremely useful feature. We should not have to barcode chargers, stylus, cases, etc. A bundle option would be super helpful.
