Chromebooks are showing way more information in Asset Explorer than Windows devices?  Why is that?  Does something need to be enabled?

Hi @amac can you share a screenshot to highlight the different metadata points that are being pulled into iiQ? Were both assets created using an MDM integration?

The Asset Explorer page for Chromebooks includes way more information than the Windows details.

Windows device page

chromebook device asset page 01
chromebook device asset page 02 (MAC and IP)

Hi @amac I’m hearing reports that we may have an active issue, so I want to ensure this is reported, however I’d love to dive into your site and investigate. Would you mind sharing your district name with me?

I sent that in a PM.

Are you saying we should be seeing more information for Windows devices?

You should definitely see more info for the Windows devices. In my previous district, we saw similar data to what you see for the Chromebooks, plus things like lists of installed apps.

In my current district, iiQ is not showing data from Jamf School right now. I figured I’d give it another day before contacting support.

Our data from SCCM is not showing either. Our district is Wayne County, Jesup GA.

@AMeyer Greendale Schools @JMoody 02761 wcss @amac Looks like we might be experiencing some discrepancy with our app data population. Please submit a ticket to our Support Team so we can track who is experiencing this.

Ticket submitted 🙂 Hopefully it’s an easy fix.
