Is it possible to assets that are retired without removing their room?

Can we be given the ability to remove assets from a users view by their selected status.

See below as an example of an end user seeing an asset that is marked as retired.
 

The work around here is to remove the asset from the room via rules, I would like that information retained for our retired assets.

    ​@SeanWHPS This is a great idea, but at this time, you cannot hide assets from a user based on the status. However, I do understand the importance of keeping the room number information for the asset.

    You could create a “Room #” Custom Field for Assets in the status of “Retired.”

    No that makes sense, its just not ideal for filtering or reporting, but thanks for the idea.
