Is it possible to have a location’s room numbers as possible storage locations? We don’t have a warehouse or designated storage locations except for some closets, shelves, and cabinets. I’d like to be able to select a specific room for the storage location rather than typing in a blank field.

I’m just typing in the room number where the item is stored. I’m working with AV items that are checked out for events and then put right back in the same location. Here’s an example. I’ve created rules that change the items location to the checked out owner’s location then back to storage when checked in. What I’d like to be able to do is select a Storage Room number from a drop down so we don’t have to type out a location in the “Storage Unit/Box” field. We only have one campus and use Locations for individual buildings then rooms nested under those locations.
I’m also usually doing this from a phone. The Check In/Out function in the app just allows me to assign an owner to a single item. I can use the search function to scan barcodes and build a list of items, but the bulk items functions don’t include check in/out.
I’m starting to mix two issues here. Main thing for this post: be able to utilize already established rooms for storage rooms, not just manual type-in unit/box. I know I could set this up using a spreadsheet or using the bulk functions on the site, but if you don’t type in the correct location each time, you end up with multiples of the same with different names.

Just to confirm are you wanting the room number for say, location in Batch Check in/out for the box and number? Or did you want to include the room number with the asset?
