Writeback Data to Google

There are five fields that you can write to on the Google backend.

  • Asset ID
  • User
  • Location
  • OU
  • Notes

I know that through the Google Devices app, we can set filters to set an OU based on filters that are setup (and there is an FAQ article on this functionality

).  What I want to know is, are there ways to set write-backs for the other four fields?  I have not been able to find any documentation on that.

There are 4 fields that have the ability to be set to sync from iiQ to google Device Data, which you can see in the screenshot below: Annotated Location, Annotated User, Annotated Asset ID and Notes.

 

 

It can be added in the Map custom values section within your Google Devices app under Apps > Manage. Once added the drop down as seen below gives you the option for which direction to sync.

 

Here is the documentation for this information. It can be found in the General Settings section.
