How can I change my Knowledge Base View?

Our IT department is discussing how we can better utilize the Knowledge Base to help our end users. We discovered that my Knowledge Base view is completely different than the rest of my department and I have no idea why or how to change it! Everyone else’s screen looks just like the screenshots in the “How to” guides provided on using the Knowledge Base. Mine is divided into 3 sections with Trending Articles taking up the largest porting in the middle of the screen! It almost looks like I’m on an older version of the product, but it’s a district account and the appearance is the same even when logging into a different browser.

My Knowledge Base Screen with Trending Articles I want to hide

@vprovost Thank you for submitting your question to our community! 😄

I logged in as you and was able to see the new version of Knowledge Base. If you have not logged all the way out and cleared your cache, please try those first.

Once you perform those steps and you still see this, please have an admin submit a ticket to support on your behalf. Thanks!

Thanks Kathryn that fixed it. I didn’t think it was a cache/cookie thing because I logged into a completely different browser (one I use for testing things like this!) that clears all cache and cookies every time I close it so when it looked the same there I didn’t even suspect it. I don’t know if that is what did it or the actual logging out instead of being timed out… regardless I am officially updated, thanks!

@vprovost I find the action of actually logging out versus just closing the browser fixes my IT problems more than I would like to admit. 😆 😆 Please let us know if you have any other questions.
