Just noting some issues for feedback purposes on the newest update to KB:

  1. Some of our existing articles have broken formatting. I’ve fixed a few of these manually, but I expect this is not intended behavior. Examples:
    1. Bold text being replaced by “*** Text ***”
    2. Images being replaced by “/ap/…/...?w=500”
  2. We are missing the previous behavior with Google Drive share embeds. Not sure if this is intended or not, but before the update, Linking a Google Doc in a KB article would embed the Doc in the article. This was extremely helpful as many of our instructional material is already written in Docs and allows us to edit it there instead of worrying about updating the KB while also allow the article to be viewed on iiQ without the user needing to click the link to go to Drive.
  3. Attachments are now limited to pictures, Office files and PDFs. We have a section of our KB restricted to techs and in the past have used it to make other file types available like batch scripts, .json files, and .dymo or .lbl label templates, etc which can now no longer be done.

@hgross Thank you for submitting your question to our community! 😄

I have passed this along to our team to follow up with these examples. Once I have more information, I will let you know!
