Unable to add knowledge base articles

Whenever trying to add a knowledge base articles I receive an error that the category is necessary. When trying to select for a category, the drop down either does not appear, or flashes for a second and does not allow me to add any category. I have had this issue for several days.

Hi ​@Limbani !

Thank you for your question! KBA’s need a parent and a child category. It looks like you have a parent category created for Smartboards. You can select “add category” to add child categories beneath the parent category of Smartboards.
 

 

Once you add your child categories, you should see them as options when adding articles!
