I noticed and heard from a few other admins that yellow dot has appeared in the web portal. For some it tries to hang out next to Shortcuts, others it moves up and down the ticket menu with no direct correlation. Navigating away and back makes it disappear for sometime but eventually returns.

Well, after several attempts single click, right click, and double clicks did finally get a pop up explaining the new shortcuts menu bar (thought that looked new). Visual issue thought that it didn’t stay with the menu and could float in the ticket column menu.
@CLee 1176405 shakopee Thanks for submitting your question. You are absolutely correct! The little yellow dot is the symbol for an in-app engagement that provides additional information about new features within the product. There are two that are active right now. You will continue to see these yellow badges until the engagement is over the end of June.
I, of course, have now clicked on this so I don’t see the dot anymore...but should the tooltip/info box pop up if I hover over the dot?
I much prefer something like a lower-case letter I in a circle or a ? to indicate more info is available. I thought the yellow dot was dirt on my screen at first
@AMeyer Greendale Schools It should stay on your screen til the end of June but here is the KB guide just in case:
@AMeyer Greendale Schools I did some testing this morning and also reached out for some information to our awesome Director of Customer Engagement, @Hannah Bailey. The yellow dot next to Shortcuts under the ‘Ticketing’ left nav icon will appear every few minutes until you click on it, (hovering won’t do anything). After you click on the dot it will go away. The second engagement is for Agents and Admin and will appear inside a ticket:
This one will appear through the end of June until it is clicked. Once clicked you’ll see the information about a new setting that can be controlled individually per user and the badge will no longer be displayed:
I love all the new ways we are getting information regarding updates to our customers. Hope this information helps!
Thanks for the info @EStapf_iiQ !
That yellow dot was REALLY hard to click on. A larger target would have helped a lot.
