We are looking to implement Fee Tracker in our IIQ tenant. How does your district handle automation with Fee Tracker and IT Ticketing? We are looking for a robust way for principals/administrative assistants to be added as followers whenever there is a fee update to a ticket. Cheers!

@DKRUPPENBACHER Thank you for submitting your question to our community! 😄

I was looking into our rules engine to see if there was a “when field is updated” trigger for Fee Tracker updates but it does not look like it. What kinda of updates are they needing to be added to? Is there is specific type of update?

@Kathryn Carter We want to be able to dynamically set a status, add followers by location, and change ticket priority whenever a ticket’s fee is worth more than or equal to $50, or when a ticket’s fee is paid off (0). We tried creating a rule for this, but it does not seem to update unless I put a comment in the comment box.

I also was looking to do something like this. I was able to cobble together a shortcut that added building admins as followers and added comments explaining what was happening and why. It isn’t quite as robust as I would like though. And it still requires using the fee tacker separately. I agree it would be a nice feature to see in the future, where a fee over a certain amount could be a trigger for rules, and add the correct followers by location.

@AScheidt 63c0d9 kcsdtech Love the idea of a shortcut as well. While it is not as automated as a rule, this is an easier way to get those actions running!

@DKRUPPENBACHER Here is an idea to check out as well:
