We are new to this operating system and are wondering how we can get multiple of our agents assigned to one ticket.

You could create teams and assign them that way. Otherwise, I don’t think there is a method available.
If it is for a single issue, I would suggest Shane’s recommendation above. If there are multiple tasks associated with the ticket, you could create subtasks and assign those to specific agents.

Once you have created the subtasks, you can assign them to those specific agents either on the fly or via rules engine.
