Is there a way to create a list of subtasks and subtasks groups without having to go into a ticket itself? I would think it should be as easy as creating issues.

Hi @jbartruff - Currently you can utilize rules and/or shortcuts to automatically add predefined subtasks/subtasks groups to tickets. This would automatically apply your subtasks/subtasks groups to a ticket based on ticket subject/issue without having to manually add them each time.

Can you please review the video below as well as the following Community guide (refer to the section titled: “Applying Subtasks & Subtask Groups with Rules Engine”, and let me know if this addresses your question?

Thanks!

Best,

Ashley

@AHolley_iiQ I believe what @jbartruff is asking is for a way to set up a new subtask group without doing it from an open ticket. Unless there’s something new that’s been released, I don’t think there is a way, similar to how you can’t create a shortcut without doing it from an open ticket...

@jclark Good thought here! I was thinking something similar but the best practice for creating those is through a rule! You can create them within an open ticket but via rules engine is your best option 😄
