I’m looking to have tickets automatically generated when a Desktop or Laptop running Windows OS  is retired as they are some house keeping tasks that need to be completed. Has anyone been able to do something like this?

I was hoping that our rule engine could create a ticket based on the status of an asset. Unfortunately, that is not possible at this time. This would be a great enhancement. Would love to see it in our idea exchange.

How are you currently tracking how the Windows OS is retired?

Was thinking of leveraging our Rules Engine. But there would be some manual work involved in identifying those "retired" os versions.

Hi Hannah

I’m looking to track devices, not OS versions. For example, if we retired a Dell Laptop asset, I would want a ticket opened.
