Permissions Needed for Users to Add Followers to New Tickets
We have a user that reached out about wanting to be able to add followers to the ticket she opens. I read a few articles on here and the permissions for List Users is one that they said was needed. This is selected and the user still cannot add followers to a ticket they are opening. Can anyone help us with this?

Hello @Gary_KCMO - Permissions can sometimes take 10-15 mins to carry forward. Can you please confirm if this user is able to add followers now? The “List Users” permission should do the trick.

When they tried it, I am pretty sure it had been more than 15 minutes since I made the change. I will have them try it again this morning and see what the result is.

This may be relevant - To the best of my memory, requestor roles can’t add followers to tickets after they are open. They are only prompted to notify additional people during ticket creation (assuming you have that site option enabled).
If they are presented with the “Tickets” left nav option via permissions, like agents are, their ticket “layout” is different and they can add followers that way, but that sometimes presents a different set of problems in itself.

They are attempting to add them when they are creating a ticket, not after.

Yes. And sorry I forgot to post here since the users let me know late on Friday afternoon. It’s working now. I believe @AHolley_iiQ Ashley said that her Dashboard had gotten flipped to Facilities instead of tech. When she changed it, it began working as expected.
