Is there a way to personalize short cut comments?  For instance, I like to put the user’s name in the salutation:  Hello [user’s name], turns into Hello Kathy Smith,

Thanks,

Mary Beth

Not currently. Someone has posted this idea though. I know I’d love to see this one myself, we often like to use canned messaging and it becomes difficult sometimes having to modify it just to add the person’s name.

I was thinking it would be great if the shortcut was presented before posting like a preview mode or something--then giving the opportunity to enhance.

For that, you’d want to use a “text snippet”. That gives you the option to edit it before submitting as a comment. Still would be nice to include variables though, like you mentioned!

Thanks-I will give that a try.
