I’m thinking I’m just missing something...I can’t find a way for the user to select a different location for their Quick Tickets other than the site they are assigned to.

This was a perfect way for us to limit the use of a specific ticket type to a certain user, but he’s not able to change the location of the ticket to other sites.  Also couldn’t find a way to change the location automatically by creating a custom field.  Just trying to figure out a way.

@jax Thank you for submitting your question to our community! 😄 This is a good one.

With Quick Tickets, they will be assigned just to the submitter’s location since they will tie to the user. This would be a great addition to Quick Tickets this can be submitted as an enhancement request here: https://community.incidentiq.com/ideas

I don’t think this exists (yet). I think the original point of the Quick Tickets feature was to eliminate the extra clicks - but I’d bet there’s been enough grumbling around here about missing capabilities that they’re working on a V2 already lol

Once permissions are updated this won’t be an issue.  We are using Quick Tickets in a non-standard way to get around the fact that we can’t restrict certain ticket types to certain users.
