Is it possible to set a default value for a custom “OnOff” field?

@j_collinswb Thank you for submitting your question to our community! 😄

The default for that on/off toggle is off and it is not avaiable to set it as automatically on.

@j_collinswb You could use a ‘Select’ custom field option and only give it one option, which would default the answer to that answer. I think I follow your method of thinking though and if our thinking aligns it’s one of the reasons I prefer ‘Select’ over the toggle.
If you make the toggle required then it defaults to off = no. It’s super easy for the user to ignore the required field because it’s technically already answered no (by default).

By using the ‘Select’ type and making it required between the dropdown select options of yes/no, there isn’t a default answer, making it a clearer to the requestor that they MUST answer this question.

I hope this helps!
