Question

Is there a way to make a website asset clickable in an Enhanced Approval Workflow email?

Hello All,

I am hoping to get some help with a ticket approval process.  Currently i am using the enhanced approval workflow to generate an email to the end user to see the changes they requested on a website.  But the user has to copy and paste in the site and is causing some issues.  Does anyone know of a different solution?

if not can you all help me out and get my Idea some upvotes?

thanks

Erik

@EMeyer 9232985 tulaliptribes Thank you for submitting your question to our community! 😄

Do you have a screenshot of the example? It is not a clickable link within the email?

this is the email i am currently getting from the approval workflow.  as you can see the asset is attached at the end of the email but is not a hyperlink so, the requestor would have to copy and paste that link in to their browser.  it would save a lot of time if that asset was a hyperlink.

Good Morning @EMeyer 9232985 tulaliptribes I am curious why your users are trying to click on the asset when they are able to view the ticket?

Clickable links within the description are not available at this time.

Hello Kathryn,

Current Challenge:
Right now, the approval process requires the customer to open the ticket, find the correct link, and then approve or reject the requested changes. This adds unnecessary steps and friction.

Goal:
Make the approval process simpler by including a clickable hyperlink directly in the asset or in a note attached to it. This way, the customer can approve the changes they requested straight from the email—without having to:

  • Navigate back to the ticket
  • Copy and paste the link into a browser
  • Switch between the ticket and the email

Why This Matters:
Reducing these extra steps improves the customer experience and speeds up the approval workflow.

Thanks

Erik
