Build rule to deprovision Chromebooks based on status or location?

​@amac Hi, yes you can do it through the “Admin”->”Rules”->”Assets” “when ‘Updated’”.   You will want to have the location created, in this case I just used IIQ Tech warehouse.

If you want to use a custom status, you just need to created one in “Admin”->”Asset Statuses”

​@amac While we offer the ability to deprovision a Chromebook within iiQ, it’s done manually, one at a time, from the asset details page. There currently is no way to use a rule to actually deprovision. I think the intention to not include this as an action within our rules is to prevent accidental bulk deprovisions which could cost you valuable google licenses.

But, as ​@MLund_iiQ has provided, you can certainly automate the rest. 

If you are writing this location back to google, you could build a google admin report of all devices in that location that aren’t yet deprovisioned and then deprovision them there or manually deprovision them within iiQ one at a time.

Sounds like the ability is there but nothing in the front end.  Why not make it available but off by default?  Have a toggle or checkbox to do deprovision in bulk.  Or limit it to a specific group of users?
