When I scan a student barcode it has a P in front of the student number. How can I program the scanner, so it ignores the P. The instructions that came with the scanner don’t have that option.

Do the student IDs include that P for their number? I’m wondering how it’s getting added.
There might be some coding magic you can add in through the scanner setup (linked below), but I’m not super familiar with it.
