Gifs in the Knowledge base?

I’ve been copying over all of our knowledge base articles from our old ticketing system in to IIQ and we use a lot of gifs vs images. I haven’t found a way to upload/embed the gifs into the body of the resolution. Anyone else attempt this?

What happens is they convert to png after you save. Any way around that?
