When using IIQ webhooks via HTTP POST or GET method via URL, which IP addressed I need to whitelist on our firewall in order to allow those requests to be delivered into our processing server?

Good afternoon,

Thank you for reaching out with your question.

Currently, our best practice for iiQ webhook access is to whitelist the full range of IP addresses provided in our standard list. These addresses cover a variety of system functions, including our Job Server and Ticket Rule Engine, but are not broken down into more specific use cases such as GET vs POST webhook actions.

At this time, we do not have access to itemized documentation on which specific IP addresses handle individual webhook calls. This is due to the dynamic nature of our infrastructure and the routing flexibility built into our system for scalability and redundancy.

If you've already whitelisted all of the provided IP addresses but are still encountering webhook failures, we recommend checking:

  • The firewall or content filtering settings of the receiving application or endpoint.

  • Whether TLS/SSL inspection is interfering with the HTTPS connection.

  • Any rate limiting or payload filtering rules on your infrastructure that may be blocking or delaying POST/GET responses.

We're continuing to check internally for any additional documentation that may assist further. Please feel free to reach out to our technical support team if you are encountering any specific error messages or log entries related to these webhook attempts. We’ll be happy to take a further look and provide additional assistance.

Best regards,
James

DDavis. Thank you for your question! Here is a list of the IP addresses you need to whitelist for your iiQ Site.

But which ones (from the long list of IP addresses you have provided….) are used “only for the IIQ webhooks via HTTP POST/GET” ?
