Is there  a way to use a Subtask in a Rule?
I’d like to have a Subtask fire off an event/webhook when the Subtask is marked as Complete.

Or should I convert that particular Subtask to a Subticket to be able to take advantage of Rules?

@jo.cpa Thank you for submitting your question to our community! 😄

Based on your workflow, I would suggest creating them as subtickets if you want to use rules.

Hmm.  That seems tedious to need to confirm issue, add actions, Resolve ticket, etc… when all we want is to make a Subtask as complete then fire off the event/webhook.

I have this same need. We have tickets created when new staff enter the district. I want to be able to either send and email or create a new ticket for our HR department when a specific subtask is marked as complete. Any chance that this has become an option since this thread was started.

No progress.  They marked best answer and solved.
The extra steps for a sub-ticket make this challenging for us to implement.
