Hello! We are currently creating audit policies using Google data for automatic verification in our Chromebooks. However, we would like to expand this to include our other devices, such as Windows and Mac. Specifically, we want to know how to use Filewave data for auto verifications.Currently, we only see the option to use Google Devices. Is there a setting that needs to be turned on in order to see the option for Filewave? Thank you. 

Having a little trouble with getting the user mapping straight. When we try to login we get “No attribute values could be mapped from the SAML response”. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Based on the “PowerSchool SIS - Configuring Settings” guide, we should be able to associate Rooms with users. Unfortunately when we try to configure the App, that option does not exist. Is this a change to the app that isn’t reflected in the Guide, or is there some other issue?

Is there a way to set up a ticket status that would trigger an action when set. For example a status like “1st Violation” - Then it would disable the device (using the Intune integration). Even better yet, allow us to schedule an action to re-enable the device x days later or even create a re-enablement ticket.

We have been using IIQ for help desk management and have separate remote assistance software. We have used TeamViewer in the past and are currently using Dameware. We would like to utilize remote software from within the ticket itself and would love any recommendations for currently available integrations with IIQ. 

I was looking into Fee Tracker a bit and wanted to know if there was a view that showed what the fees were for. Such as which parts, the breakdown cost of the parts, and the total. I am currently able to see a total fee but nothing else. I also wanted to know if it were possible to export a breakdown along with bulk import refunds or cancelations.

So we have launched our instance of IncidentIQ and we had a teacher ask a question about the ability for a teacher to disable a Chromebook via IncidentIQ. Our system that we are migrating from, we gave teachers the ability to disable a student Chromebook if there was an issue in their classroom. I looked at our permissions and gave faculty the enable and disable right, but I think I am missing something else somewhere because as a teacher I can’t find an option to do that. I’m trying not to give teachers rights that they don’t need, but I’m thinking this is a matter of trying to drive a tack with a large sledgehammer.

Though I didn’t see it included in the API list, I was wondering if there is an API for Kaseya. If not does anyone know if this is in the works? Thanks!

Hello everyone,As we look at summer projects for our IT Department I was wondering if anyone has found a way to enable students to self-checkout from a common device cart?We are a 1:1 district but our Middle Schoolers have a habit of leaving devices at home. It would be nice to have a cart full of computers that a student can walk up to, scan their ID and the Asset Tag of a device, and then walk away with a spare checked out to them. We do have Rollout Scout for our district, but I can’t think of a way to set up a kiosk mode with that or any of the other check-in/out options in IIQ. Maybe having a service account with only device assignment permissions set up on a Chromebook on the cart? We have a barcode scanner that could be mounted to it and configured as always on.I would shy away from any non-digital options since they can’t be well managed and are prone to worse errors than digital scanning methods (trust me on this one). I’m not looking for a paid option

Hello,We love the Google device integration that exists with IIQ that allows us to disable / enable a Chromebook from within the platform. Likewise, I love the new rule engine feature that allwos me to automatically disable a Chromebook the second I change it’s status from In Service to Missing or Stolen. This allwos bulk disabling of devices vs manually clicking the button for each device. Anyhow, we have a small fleet of old Windows devices that we just converted to CloudReady/Google Flex devices. Basically they now primarily function as a Chromebook and appear in Google Admin but we do not have the ability to disable / enable them or get any of the data passback in IIQ like they were a “true” Chromebook. Does anyone know what fields need to be updated in order to get this syncing? Is it possible? 

Is there a way to confirm what account is being used in the Intune integration app? I see the ‘reset’ button which looks like it triggers a re-authentication.

I see this is already an FAQ, but I wanted to just post about it since I missed when the permissions to write back got changed. Pre-pandemic, all of our district’s Chrome Devices had their own Cart OU in Google. Then the pandemic hit and all of them got dumped into everywhere. There is no easy way to bulk update device locations in the Google Admin Console, so doing it through the expanded write back options in IIQ has been a huge help for us. It does require quite a lot of setup on the admin side, but it’s mostly a set it and forget it setup. When we first adopted IIQ we were not able to add filters to writeback, it was only Location writes to OU, all or nothing. The addition of filters is awesome. We use Microsoft Teams here- Wondering if theres a way to create a ticket from teams. Often time people bypass Teams and just send us a message. I don’t feel like there is a way but curious if anyone has any ideas. 

Within the Google Devices integration app, we have the following params set:It looks to me that IIQ is assigning No Access users as device owners since it is able to match a username.   I’m seeing users that have withdrawn as students being assigned devices...some where the last login date is the previous school year.If this is the default config, I suppose a rule is necessary to remove owners when the owner’s role is “No Access”  ??

Is there a way to have the SCCM asset integrations set asset status to retired or something other than isDeleted when assets are removed from SCCM?

During the step “need to Authorize Incident IQ with an account in Microsoft Intune that can read and write data in the system to complete the installation process.” The account used, is it just creating an application token for IIQ to use or it it saving the account used during this step for all future interaction between the two products?

Right now our district is using Azure with IIQ and it working great, but we heard that it causes problems if we also want to integrate SCCM into IIQ as well. We cannot find any documentation on this and my managers and I are unable to remember specifics on why this might be an issue. If anyone has any info on this it would be greatly appreciated, but this is not my main question. My main question right now is that once we get SCCM applied to our IIQ account (assuming no conflicts with Azure) how robust is the auditing capabilities of IIQ using the data provided by SCCM. Our district will be assigning devices this year that will stay with the students for 4 years, with no physical check-in at the schools during the summer or holidays like we normally do. We would want to run an audit that would look at the SCCM data and essentially determine if each student is using the correct device assigned to them and when their last log-on date is. Can the Sentinel app be added to the managed apps so that our district can see the usage of the hotspots with the district.

If we wanted to suspend the sync with Infinite Campus SIS for the summer,  what steps would we need to do?  Or what is recommended?  Leave the sync running realizing there will be a lot of changes based on changes in schedules. 

We print out the tickets as PDFs for our Maintenance guys.  When our employees create a new ticket, they enter their School and Room Number under Location, but when we download the ticket as a PDF only the School shows and not the Room Number.  Can this be updated to print the room, so we don’t have to write it on our tickets?  Thanks!

I am trying to reauthenticate our Google Devices and am receiving the following error message: "400_Admin_Policy_Enforced"How do I get around this error and successfully complete this process?
