Users

I am looking for a way to see if and when users login to IIQ. It seems I can only get login info from Google and that tracks regular logins. Since this is a new software we want to make sure everyone is comfortable in using the software and find out if they were aware of IIQ and to see if they have issues getting on the site. My many attempts in asking staff results in a few replies. 

Hi,  We’re using the Microsoft Onsite Active Directory app to sync to our local active directory.  I’m trying to map our departments to the IIQ department field on the User record, but I can’t figure out how to change the list of IIQ departments to match ours.  Is there a way to include things like Admissions, Advancement, Facilities, etc in the drop down list of available departments in IIQ?

We are going to roll out Incident IQ this summer 2024.  Does anyone have FAQ documentation you provided end users during your initital project implementation?

For the end of year process in my district we are making lists of students, their devices, and weather or not they have open tickets (to prevent duplicate tickets from being submitted durring collection). When I go to export the views I made for each grade it will not export any ticket information. Is there a way to get it to at least export the ticket number?

Where do these ticket totals generate from and can they be hyperlinked so you can drill down to see the actual tickets?Thank you in advance.   

Our career tech ed program  just received a new banner printer / vinyl cutter. We're also working on setting up a screen printing shop. Both will be run by our CTE program.  The process will be managed by teachers and work would be completed by students.I would like work orders to be created in IIQ.   Then the teacher and/or student group doing the work would be able to update said tickets and ideally printing out work request that they'll use while working on the ticket.  I feel this is more than doable. What about quoting/invoicing?Has anyone set something like this up in their system?

Is there a way to search in User Revisions?

Maybe I’m missing something here, but there does not seem to be an option to increase or decrease the number of results one gets when they input a first or last name. It’s capped at 20 which will cut off the results when you put in a common last name like Smith or Williams for instance. No issues finding them when using the full name, but when media specialists(librarians) are tasked with spare device handout the quicker the process the better as the steps are already too much in my opinion. Any ideas?

Under “Users>Devices Recently Used by section”. Is there a way to sort by the date last used? and can a column for the tag number be added?Student who forgets or have their device out for service, are able to borrow a DEPOT device, but the devices listed under recently used to seem to be in any type of order. Just randomly listed. Sorting by date would give us the ability to see which devices were used last.And this section only shows the serial number of a device, and under the device section only shows the tag number, so to verify the device assigned to the student is the device the student is using, you need to dig into the device detail to see if the serial number matches up. Have both the tag and serial number listed on both would be helpful, or to just the have the same info show on both.   

Does anyone know how we can get this data if possible? Is it possible to get a report by user of the devices they've had checked out? Maybe by school year. 

Is there a way to add the teacher’s name when viewing a student’s information? 

I am new to iIQ so I apologize if this is a little basic.  I am wondering if you can apply custom permission policies to a Team?  This would be very useful to add a policy then add and remove users from the Team as needed.   For example, if I have a department team and want them to only see tickets at their location within a certain set of issues.  With the users moving frequently it is easier to adjust at the Team level, at least how I am understanding it right now.Thanks for your help! 

We’re looking for a way to sync our fees over from iiQ to PowerSchool, as well as a custom boolean field we use to track whether users are enrolled in our insurance program. So far, the best way we can find to do this is to create a user view containing students with those two columns, run a scheduled export every night, then import that data into PowerSchool. Has anyone else run into a similar issue and found a more effective or easier way to sync data from iiQ to PowerSchool?Also, if we do go with a scheduled SFTP export of the user view, we’d like to know what happens if the user who created the view has their account removed. Will the view export stop? If so, does sharing the view with a team of users ensure it is preserved even if the owner’s account is deleted?Thanks to all for any insight and answers!

I’m trying to add information to the user profile page. We would like to keep track of number of intentional damage incidents in Incident IQ. I’m doing this in the Custom Fields area but it is not showing up on the User Profiles page. Any suggestions?

We are in the process of verifying. Normally I can go to a Teacher or Student and select their class to view the entire class roster to get an idea of which teachers have yet to verify / print rosters for verification for teachers who are out. This worked up until yesterday. At present, the cursor changes to a finger/hand when hovering over the roster, but the roster itself is not clickable. Is this just a hiccup? Using Chrome, up to date, on Mac Sonoma. 

We had a agent take vacation and tickets are getting assigned to them from their team, is there a way to set out of office for them? I did not see away to do that without being logged in as them.

How can I create a View of Homerooms?I want to have a list of all Teachers and their Homerooms.When I create a View in Users and add the Homeroom column, it is blank.  I appears to total the quantity ok.

Is there a way to print bar code tags with the user name (student) and  (Student ID) as a bar code from each Teacher’s class  by filtering assets/devices/teacher name?  I know you can do the assets just curious if you can do the students?Thank you.    

Is there a way to import my teachers and the room they are assigned to?

I have an SIS connected via a OneRoster update. It seems to update fine but any new students are getting skipped because, as the title states, “Create User is Disabled”. When I go into settings for the SIS app (Rediker Admin Plus) I see the following:  The import students and other have greyed out X’s by them. Is there a way to change this? Initially we imported our students and faculty/staff by Google SSO but we don’t get all the information from there so I would like this OneRoster to create students faculty and staff if possible. It creates parents just fine. Any ideas to get me moving in the right directions? Thanks!

I was looking to see if custom roles are still in development or if they have possibly been scraped? I found a thread where a community manager stated that the feature is in development but, the comment is almost 2 years old now and the feature is still not available.Thread in question: I don’t mean to come off as rude or angry. I understated these things take time but, I just want to know if we can expect custom roles anytime in the near future? Custom roles would really help streamline some thing in our environment and it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to share ticket templates with non-agents. I am looking to basically have it so when a user goes to create a new ticket, that they have essentially a “button” that they will have to only fill out minimal data in, for some of our more common issues. For example for VPN requests, they can click the template and all they have to fill out are basic fields and it gets routed to the correct team and agent.  I have the template set up for agents to use, but want our users to be able to use it also. Is this possible?

Somehow we got a staff member added with two accounts. Is there an easy way to merge these accounts together in one? She has assets and tickets assigned to each one.

Hello, We do a user sync using our SIS so all my users are in IQ. I am trying to do a CSV import to import a custom field that does not come from my SIS. When I try to do this it says user already exist. Is there a way to append to the current users in IQ ThanksRon

Good afternoon, I am wanting to bulk update users to add custom “Early Grad” flag that I made for the users.  Is this possible to do?  Do I just use the template and add a colum with the same name of the custom field I made for the users?  Or do I need to manually set the custom field? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
