Field mapping

How do I create a Field Mapping for user accounts? For example, I want to have a slot for parent email addresses, then I will map it to our database. Thank you!

Tickets submitted by "System Anonymous"

For the past two days, we’ve had tickets show up as being submitted by “System Anonymous”. It’s not all tickets but seems to be a random mix. I can’t find any other mention of this anywhere. Any idea why it stopped pulling correct info?

Search in view designer to select more than 100

I need to be able to search more than 100 owner/user ID’s at a time when I am building a custom view.  I have a list of a number of staff that have an assurance program and I need to know of those users/owners what devices do they have assigned to them now in IIQ.  So I can set a custom filed of has assurance but then I need to know those owners/users that have assurance what specific devices are checked out to them. I know the owner/users ID’s who should have it so I am using a custom view to search all 5,000 uniques owners/users but I can only copy into the view designer search box 100 at a time and that will take a long time for 5,000 users.  I need to be able to either import the list of owners/users and tag them or be able to search in the view designer for more than 100 at a time.

Changing set up on user page

Can I change the set up of where the fees are located on the user page?  I would like to move them higher so I don’t have to scroll down so far to see them.

Is there a way to edit the username of a manually created user?

Is there a way to edit the username of a manually created user? I’ve tried to simply edit the user, but the username field is not an editable field. When creating the user, the username is set to the email address and we need to user name to basically be the email without the @ domain part.

Custom Username Tags?

Is there anyway that I can tag users with custom tags so I can easily filter out certain users from views? We have a bunch of early grads who stay in our system and a several out of district kids who come here for one class. I was wondering if I could filter those kids from custom views like kids who don’t have devices checked out because those kids won’t have devices. I thought I could use the internal notes field but I don’t seem to be able to filter based on that.

Settings for inactive employees and students

We have staff or students who have left the district. Even though we are updating info in our SIS they are still showing up in IIQ as active. Is there a setting for when the sync happens it moves these to no access?

Disabling Parent/Guardian & Children section on profiles?

We recently imported a large amount of data from our SIS into IncidentIQ. However, we are seeing that it imports parent/guardians & children into the profiles of our users. We’d prefer to disable this if at all possible.  It doesn’t seem that there is a way unless I am missing something. However, we would like to keep this information private in IncidentIQ.

Assign User to Room via Import

Hello, Does anyone know of a way to assign users to rooms en masse, rather than having to click through the edit button on each individual user? When doing a user import, I’m unable to select “assigned room” as part of the “Target Field in iiQ” mapping. Surely there is a better way than assigning one-by-one. Thank you!

Default Policy for Ticketing / Facilities

Please someone tell me there is a way to assign the Default policy for Roles, I need to hide the Knowledge Base from all our staff as we already have one that exists, the only way I can do this is to create a new policy and set it to everyone's default individually.There has to be a better way, please help.

Agents permissions to add documents to user accounts?

Some of my agents scan old hardware check out forms to pdf and they want to load them into users accounts so they can be kept track of but they are getting permission errors. I have looked high and low to figure out how to give them permissions but I cannot find where to set that permission. Of course as an Admin I can do it but I don’t feel like uploading hundreds of pdf files lol. Any ideas?

Deleted location still keeps users and tickers

About a week and half ago, I created a location named Network Team Office which had the same subnet as a prior location called Central Office. The next day, all users and tickets that where in the Central Office location, moved to the Network Team Office.So I deleted the Network Team location and made sure to select Central Office location for the question on where to move the users\tickets too. The next morning, all the users that were moved to Central Office moved back to Network Team Office even though the location is no longer in existence. I manually moved about 300 users back to Central Office but again my changes reverted back the next day. This is also causing an issue with the automatic assignment of tickets from those users because our rules are based on location. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

User Groups

Is there away to create user groups in IQ so I don’t have to add each teacher individually as followers. I can just add that group email and it adds all those teachers in the group.

Two emails per staff, how do you handle?

We get the pleasure of living in both a Microsoft email domain (official district communication) and Google email domain (Google Drive / student<>Teacher communication).We are syncing users off Azure thus getting their Microsoft email for staff this is different, for students it is the same.  We are seeing now some staff opening tickets with their Google email which results them showing up from our location community not respective school location as no info to match.Is there a good way to link these two email domains or something?Thanks..

Create a Ticket using a a "User Rule" and Ticket Template

We are struggling with trying to find a way to create a ticket, using a ticket template, based on a user rule.  We can get all actions to work except “Create Ticket”The use case is if we have a user go to “No Access” that still has a device assigned we would like to create a ticket.We would also like to use this to trigger a ticket when we update a user to indicate they are leaving the district and we need to collect assigned devices. The user rules have the option to create a ticket but we have not been able to get it to work.

How do I remove Facility Agents from my list of Tech Agents

Hopefully a simple fix due to an oversight on our end.  When I assign tickets I see all the agents, Facility and Tech.I should only be seeing the Techs as the ticket was submitted for tech and not facilities.  How can I accomplish this?

Changing a Parent Guest user to an Employee Agent user

A parent in our district was hired as an employee. As a parent, she has a guest IIQ account (janedoe@gmail.com) and has put in Guest tickets as a parent. She started as an employee today so her Google credentials (jdoe1234@ourdomain) were created today.  I am trying to get Campus/Google to sync her employee information to IIQ so I can make her an IIQ agent, but it keeps syncing her as a parent/Guest. I tried manually editing her IIQ user information and changing her email/username from her personal gmail to her district email address and changing her access from Guest to Agent, but she's unable to SSO in even after I reran the Campus-IIQ and Google-IIQ syncs so I changed it back.It looks like Campus and Google are sharing her employee information on the Guest account (for instance, Google shows the OU her employee account is in) but the username on the account remains her personal email.  There are not two accounts for her, so I can’t merge her Guest and Agent accounts.  Does anyone kn

Receptionist Check-In/Out

Hello! I see it is possible to enable check-in/check-out for teachers, but I would like to grant my receptionists the ability to check-in/out our loaner devices to any student. What is the best way to set this up? Thanks!

Manually attach student to teacher

We are looking to create rooms as a user that assets can be checked out to(things that wont move such as document cameras, printers, smartboards). The only issue we are running into is we would like to have the teachers who are associated with that room to be able to see the information about those assets. My original thought was creating the room as a student at the site, but the teacher role(faculty) doesn't have the ability to view users. So are we able to manually link a student to a teacher, or would I need to make all teachers agents with “very” limited rights?

Email notification when a student UNENROLLS?

Is there an option to receive notice when a student unenrolls and has a device assigned to them? We do always get a heads up until a student is gone and then it can take a while to track down a device.

Permissons for Staff to be set on location

Is there a way I can set custom permissions to Staff but have it based on location? for exmaple I want staff to be able to see assets from just their location so they can submit tickets for student devices using the search Asset function in the ticket workflow.

Export data by classroom for student information

For teachers, the MyClasses view has all the relevant information including username, password and device(s).  Generally, at the beginning of each school year, I create a spreadsheet with the same information to share with teachers for a one stop lookup and to print the information out (on labels via a mail merger) for teachers with younger students for use in class as well as to send home.Is there a way to export username, password, and device info by teacher? Better still, can teachers export the data?

Staff User Job Title

Depending on a Staff Members Title they are qualified for different devices. We capture this in Powerschool but I don’t see how to include this field to map to Users. If I go into Apps\Manage choose Powerschool and select Manage I can see available data mappings, but not a way to add one that’s not there.  Ideally I want to map a users Title in Powerschool so that it shows as a custom field in IIQ Example: I click on a user and I can see thier title is Art Teacher meaning they qualify for a Macbook instead of a Chromebook. I have created a custom field, but still don’t see it in IIQ
