There are five fields that you can write to on the Google backend.Asset ID User Location OU NotesI know that through the Google Devices app, we can set filters to set an OU based on filters that are setup (and there is an FAQ article on this functionality).  What I want to know is, are there ways to set write-backs for the other four fields?  I have not been able to find any documentation on that.Thank you

So this isn’t making sense to me, but since nobody else has mentioned it I have to assume I’m overlooking something.We previously set up the Intune app to only create devices and update custom fields, just so we could get them pulled in. Like so:  Yesterday, I checked the “Update Asset” box to update the asset and custom fields so that we’re pulling in current usage data, etc. Shown here: That setting alone is causing the Asset Tag field in iiQ to be overwritten with the Device Name from Intune. So lucky me, I’ve successfully erased about 10k asset tags. We can work through that though… I don’t see anywhere in the options that suggests the device name

Good afternoon ! So ever since the new update that allows label templates has launched I can’t print asset labels on my Zebra ZSB-DP12 label printer. I have tried creating a custom template as the labels are 1.25” x 3.5” and thought that was causing it. However when ever I try to print to it I get the “ Something went wrong when trying to print. Please check your printer and try again” I can send test print labels to it so I know it is connected and I can also send it to different print queues.  Anyone else run into this issue? 

Hi everyone. New to the community, been using IIQ for a little over a year now and loving it until now. My customer success manager asked me to submit my question here to get y’alls opinion so here we go.We’ve run into a hitch though with our SIS integration. We just upgraded from Skyward SMS 2.0 to Skyward Qmlativ. Skyward is requiring vendors to be a partner which IIQ does not seem to want to be a part of so they’re not an official integration partner to use the API. However, we have the ability to send CSV’s using the OneRoster reports. I followed this guide here:Installing OneRoster CSV SIS Integration | CommunityI got everything setup until it said it needed all the reports in a ZIP file? That seems counter-intuitive and of course Skyward Qmlativ doesn’t have the ability to send reports together

Has anyone implemented Okta for SSO? We are struggling with configuration since we cannot access login logs.

The “Last Login Data” is being extracted from the “Active Time Ranges” field in the API response. This isn’t a huge deal, just an inconvenience: when adding a new group to the team mapping in Google SSO, running a full sync only initially creates the corresponding team in IIQ, but the team will have 0 members. A 2nd re-run of the last sync is required for the team to actually populate with members. My assumption is that running a sync should both create and populate teams in the same job. Steps to replicate:Add a new group to the Team Mappings tab of the Google SSO app Run a full new sync of the Google SSO app Check the IIQ teams menu. The new team will be created, however it will have 0 members Go back to the Google SSO app and re-run the last sync Go back to the IIQ teams menu. The new team will now be correctly populated with members from the Google group.

So I have read the web hook sections and tried to get it to send any data. But to no avail it wont send data. Following the example all that is sent is the tag ad even that does not seem to be useful. Has anyone else worked with Web Hooks. My end goal is to have tickets show up in Monday.com so I can include them when working through larger projects that need tracking but don't want to loose site of the daily tickets that need resolving.

Hi, we have tried every potential solution we have been able to find in the limited support documentation for Fee Tracker, and also by looking through other posts and comments here, but we still cannot get our Customized Email notification for Fee Tracker to list the fee amount, or repair cost. We have tried various dynamic fields when configuring inside the Customize Email tab in the app management in Fee Tracker, but it never has listed the fee in the repair summary. We do want to utilize this email notification to alert departments, and parents of the fees for damaged chromebooks at our institution. Any help would be greatly appreciated on this. We are exploring the Vanco integration for fee management next school year. Our district currently uses RevTrak (which owns Vanco).Questions:Can parents/guardians pay fees directly in IIQ with this integration? Does the integration pull data directly from Vanco into IIQ? What's the differences between using Fee Tracker and the Vanco integration?If your district currently uses the Vanco integration, we'd appreciate your feedback on these questions!

We use Google SSO to set up accounts for both our staff and students. Our SIS app (Infinite Campus) pulls in stuff like courses, grades, and status. But, when these students leave or graduate, their status in the SIS gets switched to inactive. That's all good because we've set up data mappings to change their roles from "Student" to "No Access." This way, we can keep track of the number of students and devices we have throughout the year.The issue we're running into is that IQ isn't assigning the "No Access" role because of a message we get from the SIS sync. It says “This user is inactive, but we can't change the role to NOACCESS because they've still got an active SSO account and the role mapping isn't set up for this app." I've talked to IIQ support, and they're saying that since the best way to make users is through Google SSO, I would need to disable these users Google accounts first.So I'm looking for a way to use IIQ to help me disable these users Google account

Hello,Is anyone else experiencing a sync error with Aspen OneRoster csv and IIQ?  We had been using the same zip file containing 8 csv files, but after 12/12/2024 we are now receiving a sync error.  ERROR: Error converting value 11/16/2025 12:00:00 AM to type 'System.Nullable`1[Spark.Shared.Datatypes.Date]'. Path 'Entity.PasswordExpirationDate', line 1, position 3770. Support is saying that the manifest.csv and demographics.csv and this should work, but we had been sending the files over prior to this date without issue.  I also manually removed the files and uploaded via FTP and still received the errors.

Has anyone else struggled with the built-in knowledgebase editor in Incident IQ? It seems to be great for basic how-tos and long step-by-step lists, but the tool appears very incomplete and buggy at times. There are a number of things that we’d like to contribute to the already-large ‘Ideas’ pool that seem like they should be here already. Migrating our KB from Freshdesk has been a visual and functional step down and very difficult to bring over.  That said, how did you handle creating or moving your knowledgebase within Incident IQ? Do you have integrations with paid or free documenation tools that you like, or do you just link your docs out to another platform? If it’s not in an integration, how do you make the most of the editor? In our experience, it’s rather clunky. We favor Google Docs-based documentation because it gives us great formatting capabilities for our end-users, but adding more links and clicks to the user experience isn’t always practica

Looking for any assistance from another district that is using MS SCCM Devices App successfully for Audit purposes…Support states it has to match on name, but we do not have “names” in SCCM, only ID number.  ID numbers are unique, unlike names.  If you are successful with audit and SCCM, what exact query field are they matching on?

I really want to get Jamf more in sync with incident IQ. Some fields are available to write back to jamf by default but others are not.One thing we’re struggling with is device asset statuses and how to handle them when they change. I would love to be able to have a rule(s) to update jamf with the asset’s new status in an extension attribute whenever it is changed in Incident IQ, does anyone have anything like that setup?

I no longer see the option in the JAMF app to push data from IIQ to JAMF. Is this no longer a feature, or am I missing a setting?

Our district has a large quantity of Windows devices in InTune, which are being synced to IIQ. Previously we had the option enabled to update asset location to the user location when syncing. This became an issue for any device that had recently been imaged but had not received a new owner yet, primarily loaner and spare devices that we keep at the district tech office. When updating the location in IIQ, the manually set location would be overwritten by the default location from the sync each morning. Does anyone have a method that is working well to exempt or better manage the ownerless devices, while maintining the asset location sync to user location feature?

For the last week or so, our Jamf Pro sync has been failing with an “Unauthorized” error. We checked the credentials that iiQ is connecting with, and verified that permissions for the account in Jamf have not been modified.We reached out to Jamf support and were told that they’ve had some recent infrastructure upgrades, and that additional IP ranges and ports would need to be allowlisted by iiQ.My initial hesitation with that answer is that I’d assume someone else would be having the same problem if that is the case - so I’m here to check. Anyone else seeing these failures?

We have been unable to install Jamf School app. This is the message received.. (I can confirm the Network Id is correct). I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app… 

We have been using the My Classes integration with our SIS to allow teachers to verify student Chromebooks. Since we were rolled to the new site permissions, teachers are unable to complete the verification (it just spins and doesn’t allow you to continue).  I’ve been told by support that the site unification for staff and agents has resulted in some behind the scenes permission changes.  In order for teachers to now verify assets, they need “edit” permission for assets.  Obviously, we do not want staff to have full asset edit permission.  It appears we need to elevate this to IIQ developers to give staff permission to verify, but not to edit details. Has anyone else who is using device verification experienced this?
