We’ve recently unveiled a new logo for our district, and I’ve noticed the old logo still hanging out in Incident IQ, how do I go about changing that? 

I know it's a long title, but it gets it all out there. We want to set up 2 or 3 surveys for our district.A random survey that goes out after every 10 tickets in the district (already done) A survey that goes out after a new user submits their first ticket. A survey that goes out every 6 months (the beginning and end of the school year) to every user, preferably every user that has submitted a ticket in the last 6 months.I don’t see many options for combining the filters and whatnot in a way that I can do this, but that might also be because I’m not looking in the right places. If anyone out there has done this or is interested in getting this done let me know!

it seems I can’t get a properly consistent number when putting in unit cost for parts. for example I put the unit cost as lets say 100 for 5 parts. I had zero parts at the moment so its not two averages adding up. the average i get is somewhere around 99. I try to revise it to 20 for unit cost thinking I got it wrong, it happens but now the average cost goes to 4 dollars. I have to put some arbitrary number in order to get close to the average cost I want. It creates a discrepancy in our documents. maybe there’s some calculation setting im not seeing and if there is I’d very much like to see it.

Was reading a 9to5 Mac article and got an add for Incident IQ. That got a chuckle out of me.  

I have set up the parts alert email the same way I saw in the knowlegebase article and I am getting alert emails with warnings outside of the minimum thresholds that I have set.   I have attached one of the emails I received.  It was saying I have low inventory of 26 when I set the minimum to 2. This happened when I transfered stock to a different building. 

Hello, Is there a way we can unlock and hide fields in Events? These are just two example of fields that are not needed in events. There are a few others we would like to hide as they are not pertinent for Guest users or organizations. Here are some of the others we would like to hide for them as they would just cause confusion. I am trying to print a custom view of overdue statements.  I can select all of the statements and print; however, they are not printing one user to a page.  Can I change the settings so only one statement is on a page?

Hello! Working on a project. Currently, we don’t allow our site techs access to deleted items due to some issues we had in the past. I’m trying to create a tool that will allow them to look for a specific device and, eventually, leverage the /undelete API endpoint to do what it says on the box.I’m running into problems finding an API endpoint that will let me locate the device in question, however. When you use the search endpoints on a device that is deleted they are unable to locate the device. The undelete endpoint requires the AssetId, which is problematic because I’m not finding a way to get the AssetId other than knowing it beforehand.Additionally, it looks like there is an /assets/deleted endpoint which, I’m assuming, would return a list of all the deleted devices, but it returns a 404 when I send a GET request. Anyone have any ideas? Am I doing something wrong? Any workarounds?  Thanks! 

I am investigating the possibility of bringing on the IIQ Events module, but my main road block is that the Athletics department (Who handles most of our scheduling) is pretty committed to rSchool due to its integration with other schools in our athletics leagues.  Is there any kind of integration between IIQ and rSchool that would allow athletics events scheduled via rSchool to sync into IIQ Events? 

Hi, I have been exploring navigation bar v2. It looks nice, but i’m failing to see any noticeable differences as far as features and usage.  Before v2 was released, I seem to recall the ability to group views was one popular feature requests, so I thought this would be a highlight in v2, but it doesn’t seem to be an option as far as I can tell?I wonder if users who have fully adopted v2 would recommend the switch, and what advantages they are seeing in v2 over v1. Thank you    

Custom Views are not showing up for me on the dashboard in the mobile app. They did at first when that feature was first added. Now if I add them that space they are in is just blank. If I put a custom view in, at that point and anywhere below it doesn't display.I thought I'd post here before emailing support in case someone had an idea of something I'm missing. I'm on an iPhone 14 Pro Max. I've deleted the iiQ app and reinstalled. Here are a couple screenshots. One showing how it’s set up in the Dashboard settings and one of my phone. 

Like many schools, we’re using Incident IQ’s rules engine to enable the creation of tickets from requests sent via email.To do this, we’re using the “From email” trigger, as described here.That said, we’d like to expand upon this by also assigning subtasks to that ticket. Anyone in here Call IIQ APIs From SQL Server Stored Procedures?

I was just reading through the Rollout Scout enhancements and I found it odd that the Rule requires the Automated verification to be toggled on. If we are physically checking in/out devices with Rollout Scout, why would we not allow it to verify on a physical verification policy? Having it only work on an automated verification seems like the opposite of what we would be doing when using Rollout Scout.

If it isn’t already available, I would like a way to take my custom view and sort it by “Location”, and then each location by “Submitted”, so when I go to a location, I can more conveniently see the oldest tickets first, instead of looking for them. Any help is greatly appreciated, and I apologize if this is a duplicate request.Cheers! 

My district purchased IIQ as an asset management system but also wants to use it for textbooks and instructional materials that are checked out to students and teachers. I am looking for other districts who are also using it for instructional materials for best practices and other ideas. If this is you, please reply so we can connect.

The time is coming up for the need for the Analytics Explorer and I am having a hard time trying to get analytics on “Tickets that triggered the stale rules” that we have set up. When I use the “Is Stale” filter, it only gives me open tickets, not ones that may have been closed but triggered the stale rules while they were open. Is there a way to filter that out to get a solid report? Originally I set the rule to add a “Tag” to any ticket that triggered it, but that caused the ticket to no longer be stale since a Tag was added to it, so I can’t use that to get the info.Ideally I would like a way to get a view/analytic report By Agent, ticket counts of how many triggered our stale rules (and even more ideally, specific rules, because I have multiple levels set up at different intervals).

Happy Friday! We are having an issue where one of the custom Tags we created has been deleted. I am trying to investigate specifically how this happened, but do not see any option for viewing changes to our iiQ environment. Is this a thing? Thanks in advance.

I am adding inventory to my parts section. The Purchase Order choice us required however we do not use PO’s within iiQ. How can I change this to be not required?  

I have run several Views within Users and Assets.  I need to clean up my files and discard some of these views.  How do I get rid of them?

Here is what I would like to do.   I recently added some custom values for our Backup Batteries.   One of the values is a “replacement date” which is a “date value”  I would like to be able to build some form of rule automation that runs Daily/weekly that will basically look at those date values, and if any of those date values are $NumberOfDays away that it will create a ticket, assign it to someone, to tell them that they need to order replacement batteries.   How can I make this happen?  Please and thanks!  

Is their any functionality for coding in names or other fields into tickets?  I’m thinking like %username% as an example.I’m trying to fine-tune what info is available for some of our notifications that go out to followers.  Namely, when a new student account is created, followers get an email for a ticket with the student’s temp PW.  I’d like to include the student’s username and ID (from IC) into the ticket info so they see those in the email as well. Right now, they have to click the “view ticket details” button to get that info - which as we may all know, is hard to get users to do sometimes! Alternatively, is there a way to adjust what is included in those ticket notifications? 

We export our technicians open tickets to excel and provide a print out to them. We would like to be able to set the columns to what we need on our reports. Currently, the preset options for the columns are Subject, Priority, Status, Requested For and Assigned To.
