I’m using Chrome browser Version 137.0.7151.69 (MacOS) and cannot access the Help Center. I switched to Safari and I was able to access the Help Center to make this post. After clicking “Help” it takes me to the page in the screenshot below. The sign in button doesn’t work. I can request a verification code but when I receive one it brings me back to this page. The “Help Center” link in the upper right corner of the screen doesn’t work either. I have cleared the cache and this does not fix the issue. Is anyone else having a similar issue?

Hi all,We’ve encountered a workflow issue with how tickets are created from forwarded emails, and we’re wondering if there’s a way to automate part of this process.Currently, when someone forwards an email to our helpdesk, the ticket is correctly attributed to the original sender (e.g., Jimmy). However, we would like the system to also recognize the person who forwarded the email (e.g., Billy) and: Assign the ticket requester as the person who forwarded the email (Billy), and Set the ticket as being submitted on behalf of the original sender (Jimmy). Right now, we have to manually edit each ticket to reflect this relationship. Ideally, we’d love for this to happen automatically so both individuals are connected to the ticket and are aware that it’s been submitted.Is there a feature, setting, or workflow automation in iiQ that could support this behavior?Thanks so much for

We want to include any school field trips or offsite events in IIQ so everything is in one place.  It appears all Events require a room, so I created a room called “No Location”. I have a situation where there are multiple field trips from one school happening in one day, but I can’t book the second one, since “No Location” is already booked.   Is there way to allow a room to have multiple reservations?  I want to avoid having “No Location-1”, “No Location-2”, etc.

My Superintendent is asking for me to find a solution that would help to manage school events with an approval process and then automatically add an event to a district calendar.  I was thinking since Incident IQ has Enhanced Approval Workflows and integrates with Google Calendar that something could be developed where a principal requests an event, it goes through the approval process, and then it gets added to our Google Calendar that will also integrate with our district website. Is this possible? 

Is there a way to use the API to add new parts and/or add inventory to existing parts?

We support Student Information Software for 20+ school districts.  We have a Software support team who determines customizations to make to the software.  And we have a development team that makes programming changes to the software and creates new reports, screens, and database changes.  Is anyone else using IIQ for software development?  If so, what is the best way to send tickets through the phases of software development?  (Analysis, Design, Testing, and Implementation)   We are looking into subtasks and subtickets.  What are others in the community doing for software  change support. 

We need a way to print an event including details.  We are a school district and our custodial staff needs to receive a printed copy of building events with the details.  Currently, you can print an event but some of the data is just numbers and letters.  We need a way to print the event and tickets including details.  Please.

I noticed and heard from a few other admins that yellow dot has appeared in the web portal. For some it tries to hang out next to Shortcuts, others it moves up and down the ticket menu with no direct correlation.  Navigating away and back makes it disappear for sometime but eventually returns.  

Is anyone else experiencing major filtering issues?  None of the filter options are loading for me for asset, permissions, views.  I just see the spinning circle forever.  I cannot modify views. I cannot change permissions. Anything that relies on a list or filtering is just dead in the water.  

Is anyone else having issues accessing their IncidentIQ instance? We’ve been getting a name resolution error when trying to reach the site for almost 24 hours, but the status page says everything is operational. 

Hello,I am working with the new Label Templates and trying to add CSS code to adjust the size of the fonts. I would also like to add text wrapping for the student’s names.  Currently it wraps the student’s name, but the next line is a little overlapping the first line. I have tried using white-spaceoverflow-wrap: break-wordinline-size: min-contentword-break: break-allhowever I am getting an “un-authorized CSS Attribute” error when I try these. How can I get the student’s name to wrap and make the 2nd line of the wrapping not overlap the first one. I appreciate any and all help.

Similar to how ticket assignments can be redirected using the out of office function in IIQ Ticketing, can the same be done with an approver for EAW in the Events Module? Does the out of office function already do this?  In other words, our Athletics director is on the approval chain for events at our HS. If he is out of the office, would it be possible for him to setup out of office to redirect those approvals (sent via rules) to someone else?

Currently the Location filter for Fields in new Events tickets seems to look at the location of the person submitting the  ticket. If an East Campus user books a room in the West Campus their location does not change. For now we can ask them to manually change it but the leads to a significant point of failure for us. The case scenario is we have a location where the users are required to indicate if Security is for the event. We would rather not have this appear on all tickets, just the location that requires it.

Hello,I am utilizing the API method listed in this post and it only seems to work when trying to search for email addresses of users under the iiQ Administrator, Student, and Staff roles, but not for those under the Parent/Guardian or Guest roles.I receive exact results when I search for a student or staff member by their email address, but I get random information back when I try with any parent email address that’s listed under the Parent/Guardian or Guest roles. This is also the case if a user does not exist in iiQ.Is there a reason why the parent email address would not be showing up with a user ID even though they exist in IncidentIQ? For additional information about our IncidentIQ set up in case it helps:I have an iiQ Administrator role so this shouldn’t be an issue related

Is it possible for a cancelled event to be removed from the Google Calendar? When an event gets cancelled, it is still showing on our Google calendar.

Hi all,I'm trying to learn more about Forms in Incident IQ. I’ve looked into the iiQ Academy and other posts in this forum, but I haven’t found a one-stop-shop for everything and anything Forms: how to find them, how to create them, how to enable them, how to utilize them, etc.Specifically, I'm looking for a way to create a Form that someone can easily access via a link, fill out, and then have an automated action triggered once the form is submitted, like automatically creating a ticket using the data from the form submission.I know this is kind of open-ended, but if anyone has experience with this or could point me toward helpful resources or best practices (even other posts from the IIQ forums), that would be great!

Hello,Is there a way to hide parts that are no longer used, ie toner that is no longer used in active printers?  Also, if not, if the part is removed from the list, will the activity stay with the tickets that are linked to them or will that information also be deleted.

Various departments already have documents we’d like to put on our KB. The documents are in pdf/word/excel format. Is there an easy way to import the documents to be used as a KB article?

Today one of our Agents asked me to make her a ticket template and before I did, I asked her to see if Quick Tickets would get her what she needed. I'll be honest, it had been so long since I looked at them I forgot it was lacking 3 key pieces to make them useable for us. To be clear, this is after clicking on one in the dashboard to begin the new ticket process.1. There is no way to select an end user (or On Behalf Of/For)2. There is no way to select a location (or have it update to the end user's location)3. Seeing a lot of new ideas/posts that seem familiar, I’ll sometimes go on a chase to find the original - that way it can help answer someone’s question faster. I am mapping a computer name (NetBiosName) from SCCM to IIQ, making a new Custom Field (WSD Computer Name). I can use this custom field in making a filter for the views, but I don’t know how to attach it to the default Asset view when looking at a computer. Does anyone have an idea how to map a custom field from an App sync to the asset view?
