Is there a way to import the assets from mosyle if there is no asset tag? I’m not seeing an option to just import/assign based on email or anything like that.02/16/2024 01:03 PM - Skip: Asset was not updated, since the AssetTag field can't be empty. We’re looking for a way to sync our fees over from iiQ to PowerSchool, as well as a custom boolean field we use to track whether users are enrolled in our insurance program. So far, the best way we can find to do this is to create a user view containing students with those two columns, run a scheduled export every night, then import that data into PowerSchool. Has anyone else run into a similar issue and found a more effective or easier way to sync data from iiQ to PowerSchool?Also, if we do go with a scheduled SFTP export of the user view, we’d like to know what happens if the user who created the view has their account removed. Will the view export stop? If so, does sharing the view with a team of users ensure it is preserved even if the owner’s account is deleted?Thanks to all for any insight and answers!

Is there a way to edit the Asset Model in a record? Right now that field is blocked from changing.

I’m not sure how to explain this, so I recorded a video because it has been driving me insane when trying to update things on the admin side. https://app.screencastify.com/v3/watch/0qpY5Mz8sGuNfbLfvo9G I’m trying to update our mapping aliases so they stop mapping assets to models that I turned off last week, but the default view is stuck to 20, and it does NOT save where you were after you click something to edit it. The same thing happens in Models/Model categories. Is there a way to make it stop doing that? I wanted to update all the asset pictures but that page does the same thing, once I get past the first 20, I have to click the next page or open it to 200 again. Even if I go to page 2 of the Models list, it throws me back to page 1 after updating one.  Help.

I am a member of multiple teams in IIQ, but only wish to be notified when one specific team gets assigned a ticket.  Is there a way to accomplish this that I’m not finding?

I am looking to set the requested by of a ticket based on data sent via a form to an email.  To give a little context, we are looking to have some end users (younger grade levels in our educational organization) submit a form for support as navigating the IIQ ticketing system would be difficult for them compared to filling out a google or microsoft form with their issue and they do not have access to their email accounts.Is there a way to have a field on the form autopopulate the Requested By field when a ticket is submitted via email?  Ideally on completion of the form I could send an email with the contents of the form and the end user’s email would be a field included in the email that would then automatically assign to the end user based on that field.Is there anything I can do that would accomplish this *without* the end user sending an email or filling out the ticketing form from IQ?Thanks!

I’m trying to add information to the user profile page. We would like to keep track of number of intentional damage incidents in Incident IQ. I’m doing this in the Custom Fields area but it is not showing up on the User Profiles page. Any suggestions?

This issue happened starting today. Originally, when assigning a ticket to an agent, when you type a few letters of an agent’s the search will prioritize Staff/faculty. But as of today, it is prioritizing students in the search, thus causing us to need to type in the full name of the agent. What is causing the search engine to list students first rather than staff/faculty, when assigning tickets?

I am working on setting up a student help desk agents in incidentIQ. They will be creating tickets on behalf of other students (and not staff). I would like for them to only be able to make tickets on behalf of users that have the role of ‘student’ in two of our locations. From what I can see, I can restrict their visibility to users by location but that includes staff as well. Is there any way to accomplish this?

i’d like to create a rule that assigns an agent a ticket based on location for every issue except a specific issue or model type.I kknow I can create two rules for this, one to assign all for that location and then a second rule for who should get one issue that doesn’t apply but that adds the agent as a watcher and and sends an email.  I’d like to avoid the ticket being assigned to the first agent at all.  If there was a condition button in the filter section of the rule that should do this.

I’d like to know if there is a way to assign a part to an indivudual user. For example, we have items such as cases, cables, or adapters that do not have an individual serial numbers that we want to keep track of and assign to users. We figured using parts instead of assets would be the way to go for this because we have quantities of the same item. If the feature is there I may be likely missing it. 

Hello, We are on Infinite Campus and would like to move fee data back and forth between Fee Tracker and Campus.  I posted a question about exporting fee data from Fee Tracker on a schedule.  Since that fucnationality is not available we were thinking manually exporting the transactional data daily and run a process to upload those fees into Campus.  However, once a fee is paid in Campus we need a matching payment transaction in Fee Tracker.  Is there functionality to import payments?  The relpies in this question leads me to believe it is possible. Thanks, Glenn 

Hi, I’m wanting to create a QR code for classrooms in my building. I was wondering how I would proceed to creating a QR code and making it a functional tool.

I might be missing something, but can I upload a sheet of assets that I want to delete?   I can import a list with location change and status change to “retired” but I want to also delete the assets.   All I can see is an option to do that, then bulk select them from the Asset Explorer and choose Other > Delete.  If I do that, I have over 1K Chromebooks as Status Retired, but I want them to move to Deleted Assets.  Is there another way? 

There used to be an Adjust Fee in Fee Tracker that I would use when a device was found or a ticket was canceled. I don’t want to use the Paid option as that would be inaccurate. I also don’t want to delete the fee altogether. (I’ve cleared my caches and still don’t see Adjust Fee.) 

We are in the process of verifying. Normally I can go to a Teacher or Student and select their class to view the entire class roster to get an idea of which teachers have yet to verify / print rosters for verification for teachers who are out. This worked up until yesterday. At present, the cursor changes to a finger/hand when hovering over the roster, but the roster itself is not clickable. Is this just a hiccup? Using Chrome, up to date, on Mac Sonoma. 

I would like to assign all tickets for ‘Software/Online Systems’ to one particular agent. And, conversely, I don’t want that agent to be assigned to any other ticket types. Is that possible?

We are in process of getting started using incident IQ. I am having a heck of a time getting the label printing process together. I have a Dymo 450Turbo and I cannot find a nice, durable label to use. Does Incident IQ have a durable laminated label they sell? Thank youKathy 

We had a agent take vacation and tickets are getting assigned to them from their team, is there a way to set out of office for them? I did not see away to do that without being logged in as them.

I’m grateful for the new Fee Management for Events information that was released. I’m running into an issue where I’m not able to edit the fees that I’ve created. Is this is bug, or am I doing something wrong?

I need to select all chromebooks that start we a certain serial number. When I try and filter by serial number it want’s me to actually pick a device instead of the just being a filtering condition and showing me results on the main page. This wouldnt be bad if it didn’t cap you at 100 results when I need much more. Any ideas?

We would like to be able to see which agent/role made edits to an asset.  Trying to find way to create view or report that shows us which devices were edited by a user by date frame.
