I’m having an issue when using the iiQ Mobile App to scan device barcodes. I am using an iPhone 14 Pro, currently on iOS version 16.5. The iiQ Mobile App is on version 3.8.7.23052401. I’ve noticed that when I try to scan an asset, initially the focus is very blurry. However, if I move the device camera further away, the focus becomes more clear. I don’t have any issues with my camera outside of the iiQ app. Two of my coworkers using an iPhone 13 Pro do not have this same issue. Thoughts? Has anyone else had this issue?
We recently rolled out the Facilities module. Is there a way to set a default landing page for Facilities agents? Right now when they log in, they land in the IT ticketing side as staff members and have to switch to Facilities to work tickets. I’d love to make their lives easier by taking them right to Facilities when they log in. I don’t see a place to make that happen.
I am brand new to IIQ. I initially did a manual sync and our device information and users assigned to the devices populated, but, since that sync:I am unable to affect a change in user information via a sync FROM Intune to incident IQ, or a push TO Intune from Incident IQ. Both show that they 100% completed but no data changes happened. First try: Changed the Primary user in Intune, ran the sync manually, and the Owner did not change in Incident IQ (I also tried just syncing the individual device with the change)Second try: Changed the Owner in Incident IQ, ran the manual Push, and the User did not change in Intune.What am I missing?
We are no longer able to sync, as we are getting the error: Email_Password_Incorrect I have confirmed that the account we are using for the authentication is an admin account (“Leader” account) with the correct username and password, but we continue to get the error. We cannot sync. Not sure where I’m going wrong.
Possible bug? Maybe (hopefully) operator error? I was trying to create a rule today to act on tickets submitted by 2 specific Agents. I was testing and created a rule under Ticket Creation where the only filter was Agent is bclark. I would then enable this rule and move it to the top of the "Tickets When Created" list.What I found was after creating a ticket the rule was not triggered. The log just says it doesn't match the filter. The only thing I can think is that when I create the ticket it's not recognizing me as the Agent. I tried a couple other routes. For example, was the source the app or mobile. This was ignored too (in this case the app WILL be the actual source). I also tried adding a custom field to my profile and that wasn't an option for filtering. Neither is who submitted the actual ticket.Interestingly, other ticket created rules I have are working fine, ie if it has this issue give it to that agent.Any ideas? Hi, I have been exploring navigation bar v2. It looks nice, but i’m failing to see any noticeable differences as far as features and usage. Before v2 was released, I seem to recall the ability to group views was one popular feature requests, so I thought this would be a highlight in v2, but it doesn’t seem to be an option as far as I can tell?I wonder if users who have fully adopted v2 would recommend the switch, and what advantages they are seeing in v2 over v1. I have a ticket (#3581) open with IIQ Support, but it seems to have been abandoned as it hasn’t been responded to or had any communication (other than from me) in two weeks. This is a major problem for us and we need to figure out what happened with this ticket, and how to resolve the issue to which the ticket is referring.
I’ve been using IIQ for many months now, but today it seems that the adding Actions to a ticket is not working, which also means that I can’t resolve tickets because an Action is required. I tried logging out and logging back in, but the issue persists. Any help is greatly appreciated!
We have an integration with FileWave. When our iPads are imported in, the model “iPad” shows up in the Model Mappings tab. We currently have it mapped to just Apple iPads. We would really like it to sync with the actual model of the ipads (10th, 9th, 8th generation, etc.) so that we can better track the age of devices. Right now - we have over 3,000 iPads that all say model “iPad” any help would be appreciated.
Hello! We are currently creating audit policies using Google data for automatic verification in our Chromebooks. However, we would like to expand this to include our other devices, such as Windows and Mac. Specifically, we want to know how to use Filewave data for auto verifications.Currently, we only see the option to use Google Devices. Is there a setting that needs to be turned on in order to see the option for Filewave? Thank you.
One issue I'm having is when I select the issues under the default category, they do not appear when I create a ticket, but if I manually create a Category and add issues, they appear when I create a ticket. What am I doing wrong? Also, I would like to have the ability to edit the default Categories.
Currently, you can generate a rule that allows you map the requestor by the parent requestor, parent agent, or even parent custom field. Is there a way for us to use parent ticket attributes for existing subtickets? Like Set Issue → SetParentIssue, Set requested for → ForParentRequestor, etc etc,
Is there a way to append data when uploaded user information from CSV? We created a notes / comments, similar to the internal notes section in a user profile. I will be doing a mass upload near the end of school as we leave our old asset management system and fully cutover to IIQ. Some agents/librarians have already started using the notes section. When I upload all the old notes from the previous system, I believe it will just wipe out what would have already been written in that section, so I ask is there a way to keep what’s already in said spot without having to target what account has something there and export/combine it before the upload?
I have a student with a profile in IQ, but it will not find the profile in quick search. If I do a specific search with the user name in the New view window, I find the profile but when I click on it nothing pops up. It looks like the profile i writing from our integration software, but I am unable to pull up the user profile in IQ. Any suggestions?
Based on the “PowerSchool SIS - Configuring Settings” guide, we should be able to associate Rooms with users. Unfortunately when we try to configure the App, that option does not exist. Is this a change to the app that isn’t reflected in the Guide, or is there some other issue?
The time is coming up for the need for the Analytics Explorer and I am having a hard time trying to get analytics on “Tickets that triggered the stale rules” that we have set up. When I use the “Is Stale” filter, it only gives me open tickets, not ones that may have been closed but triggered the stale rules while they were open. Is there a way to filter that out to get a solid report? Originally I set the rule to add a “Tag” to any ticket that triggered it, but that caused the ticket to no longer be stale since a Tag was added to it, so I can’t use that to get the info.Ideally I would like a way to get a view/analytic report By Agent, ticket counts of how many triggered our stale rules (and even more ideally, specific rules, because I have multiple levels set up at different intervals).
Since the most recent update to the mobile app, when a technician is trying to close a ticket, it asks for a labor rate. I have no labor rates on file so it will not allow the ticket to be closed. How do I disable this feature?
I just purchased 400 Chromebooks. They were purchased wtih a grant and need to tracked with the funding source field. The Chromebooks have not yet been added to the Google Admin Console, so they have not synchronized with incidentIQ to have them automatically added. I have a spreadsheet from the vender with all of the serial numbers of all of the Chromebooks. If I import the spreadsheet with the funding source assigned prior to them being added to incidentIQ via the Google Devices sync, will it just update the ones I import or will it create duplicates. I do have the Google Devices app set to “Update Asset”, but it doesn’t seem to work.The reason I am hesitant to just try it is my secratary had added a single chromebook and assigned it to a user prior to it being added to the Google Admin console. After it was added via the sync, it created a duplicate instead of updating the one she added. I thought maybe there was a typo in the serial number, but when I exported them and
We enabled the version 2 of the menu bar. When switching from ticketing to facilities, it used to change from Blue to Green. Is this going to happen with the new menu?
Recently we were doing an in person audit with our Intermediate school to test run the process before we roll it out to everyone. Our media specialist wanted a report to be made with each students Homeroom to see which Homeroom hasn't completed the audit yet. I can see an option for Homeroom mapping when i go into the settings of PowerSchool but there is nothing that comes up when i export a list of students. Would this be on IIQs side or would we have to look into it on the PowerSchool side.
So, has anyone figured out how to use user attributes within an asset view? I have mapped custom fields that show a person’s job title within their user page. I would like to create an asset view that shows me a device assigned to a user and allows me to filter on these attributes but the attributes aren’t available in an asset view because they are user attributes, and not asset attributes. is there any way to accomplish this? Thanks for any advice you can offer.
Happy Friday! We are having an issue where one of the custom Tags we created has been deleted. I am trying to investigate specifically how this happened, but do not see any option for viewing changes to our iiQ environment. Is this a thing? Thanks in advance.
We’re in the process of rolling out iiQ ticketing to our district. In our previous system, we used teams in a similar fashion as we plant to in iiQ, however one thing that’s different is that we made team assignment required, and the agent had to be a member of the assigned team in order for the ticket to be assigned to that agent. I noticed that in iiQ this doesn’t appear to be an option. I’m able to change the assignee to any agent on a ticket no matter what team the ticket is assigned to. Is there a workaround for this?
We have been using IIQ for help desk management and have separate remote assistance software. We have used TeamViewer in the past and are currently using Dameware. We would like to utilize remote software from within the ticket itself and would love any recommendations for currently available integrations with IIQ.
