I am attempting to set a rule that will automatically set a deploy date whenever assets are transferred from "in storage" to "in service." Although I have implemented this rule for devices that are "checked out" to a user, some of the assets are assigned to a particular room instead of a user.I am wondering if anyone has discovered a workaround to enable this feature to work correctly. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hello! We have two locations that have merged into one. Is there an easy way in iiQ for me to merge all of the ticket and asset data from one Location into the other?

Has anyone tried allowing students to put in their own tickets and use iiQ? If so, have you allowed for students to use and what has your experience been?

Is there a method to checkout a device with “time allowed” and then have iiQ automatically send a “nag” for the user to return the device (when “time allowed” has passed)?

Each time we try using password assistant this is what we receive. I am attempting to set up permissions for the librarians/sysops(essentially a site admin instead of district wide) and have most of it down, but when it comes to users, the permissions say they should only be able to see users at a certain site, however, it lets them see anyone. They just get a read only marker for sites that aren’t allowed. Is there a way to actually hide the other sites in the permissions?  

I’m trying to make it so an agent of ours has access to all tickets for a specific software we use, but tickets within our organization are linked only to physical locations.Is it possible to make this kind of role for an agent, or would we have to only have them listed as a follower on said ticket?

We are switching to iiQ mid-year with hopes to do our end of year device collection through iiQ. However, I am not finding a way to import fines that student’s acquired this school year into Incident IQ. How do I import fines? We do a device insurance program so we need to see fines acquired during the school year so we know how many times the device has been damaged when checking in the device.

I don't want Agents/Faculty to see other schools' spare pool groups. When my media specialist goes to Manage Spare pools, she can see every spare pool group created by other District media specialists.

Is it better to report bugs through the community or through IQ? Is there a current bug list that are being worked on?

I used to be able to view a student user and see which chromebook they last logged in to but recently that information has been removed. Is it on another screen that I’m missing? 

Chrome OS is imported from google admin and shows when I view assets individually, but when I want to export I can choose chrome os as a column, but only zero’s show populated in column.  

Has anyone had this issue with the recent IIQ Mobile update v3.8.7.23022301 where your single sign on service is no longer an option?  We use Classlink and after this update the option button to login with it is gone and we can only sign in via username and password, but that will not even work.

I am wanting to update multiple assets to different room locations. When using the template the action shows “create new”. These are not new assets just that i need each asset moved to a different room location. Is this the correct way to perform this action or is there a different option I need to try?

Hi everyone,We’re working through a process issue here, and I’d like to see what everyone here thinks.  We have some agents that regularly add a lot of followers to a ticket, as input from several departments might be needed.  Most of these followers have Faculty permissions.The followers can reply to the notification emails to add comments.  If they try to view the ticket, however, they can’t.  I am thinking this normal, since the faculty user does not have permission to view all tickets, correct?The only way I can think of to allow those faculty users to add comments from inside IIQ would be to either make them an Agent, or assign view and edit rights to individual users.How do y’all handle this scenario?  I’m open to suggestions. :)Thanks,-Ricky

I added two Chromebook’s into my assets and they are showing up in my counts but when I try and search them they do not show up. I cannot pull them up to edit them or anything. 

Hello! We have a campus librarian who would like to print Vanco generated statements from all students with fines.  Is there a way we can add a custom field like the Homeroom or Advisory class to the printout along with the student information? This would make it easier to sort and distribute to students via their homeroom.   

We just created a new policy in Policy Manager. Is it possible to email it to our users?

Is there a way to set the default school calendar? When I go into create analytic reports I have to set the date every time. 

I am adding inventory to my parts section. The Purchase Order choice us required however we do not use PO’s within iiQ. How can I change this to be not required?  

Is there a way to create a column in a view that has the date a device was checked out? I am trying to make an export to import our SIS of the students ID number date device assigned to them but can't find a way to get that date in the view. 

After a ticket has been resolved, can a requestor reopen a ticket by replying to the email notification? At the bottom of the email notification, it says “If you would like to follow up, add comments or communicate with followers on this ticket you may reply to this email at any time”. I tried testing it, and replied to an email, my comment showed up on the ticket, but it did not reopen it. 

Hello! I am new to IQ & I am trying to locate the archived imports that were previously done with our assets. I see some of the imports say “Import results have been archived” but cannot locate where they are. I need to verify some items imported but not sure how to locate the archive. Appreciate any help on locating that. Thanks!

Is there a way to export configured issues/resolutions from one model and import them into another one? We have over a hundred different device models and get new ones all the time. I would like to be able to configure one model’s issues and subsequent resolutions, export them and import them into other models so I don’t have to manually add them to each model we have in our system.
