Hi I’m having a problem updating a few Custom Fields I created for my users. I’m using the Import template spreadsheet provided by iiQ. I am matching the iiQ users up with their ID number and omitting the first name and last name, email, usernames fields. But I’m getting this error “listed below”. I am looking to generate user reports based on how many times they borrow loaner devices. Anybody know of a solution for this?

How can I create a report of the top users that have had tickets created for them or by them?

We have a ticket for our provisioning that we utilized the IIQ User Custom field, this worked flawlessly for a while. As of the other day, the staff role can no longer populate users in the IIQ User custom field within our provisioning tickets. Need assistance in figuring out how to reverse this. Thanks 

I want to allow select staff to view the owner of a device (search by asset tag or serial number) or to search a user’s name or ID to see which, if any, devices are assigned to them.  I am able to allow them to view all assets, but when I try to search for a user or their ID, i am not given the option, nor am I given any results. What user settings would allow a user to check items in and out of spare pools?

I would like the ability to impersonate / login as another user.  This feature would help with troubleshooting issues. If your user roles are configured differently, your UI will look different from theirs and you'll need to impersonate the other user to be able to see what they see.  It would also aid in proper setup, configuration and verify correct permissions.  Thank you for your consideration.

How would I create a role that has the standard staff permissions and would also allow building staff (principals and secretaries) to see which device(s) their students have checked out to them? Going a step further, is there an additional permission that would allow those same staff members to check in a device if a student leaves the district?

Is there a way to show all the devices that have been checked out to one user over multiple school years? I would like to pull a report showing which devices have been assigned to one particular student over his years in high school. 

Hello- This summer we created some user accounts locally in IIQ, with their school email address, name, basics. The assumption was that once we created their accounts in Azure, they would sync from Azure, combine accounts and these users would be able to use SSO to sign on. That doesn’t seem to be the case, the users are still local accounts only. Is there a way to force these users to have SSO based logons instead of the local ones? I think I could probably delete the accounts, but then I would imagine we would lose their inventory and ticket history. We did set the “Authenticated Source” user field mapping to Microsoft Azure SSO, but that did not solve the issue either. Thanks.-Rich

Is there a way to add photos of students and staff when Agents are looking up users?

Our shipping department is not in IIQ throughout the day.   What is the best way to trigger an email to the shipping team that a ticket has be assigned to the team?   I know we can set up individual notifications but I want to avoid that and set up a rule.   Will this rule work should any time a ticket is assigned to the team shipping?   

The staff users, which comprise the bulk of our users, don’t have permission to customize their dashboard and filter it by location. The filters that are there are zero help. Am I missing something in permissions that would allow them to filter it by location? 

I am building out a number of asset and ticket views that need to be shared across all of our agents, however only a few of my agents have the “manage shared views” link in the sidebar.   what controls access to shared asset and ticket views?

Is there a way to run a report to show users who do not have a device checked out to them, AND be able to export the report?  

What are the Webhooks that IIQ supports for user rules? I don’t see any documentation and only see it for assets and tickets.

Can a “device model” filter be added to the User Explorer? We want to run a report of users who have multiple devices. But that report does not show what type of devices are assigned to the user. 

We have two elementary schools that are getting new buildings. The new buildings will have all new room numbers and new inventory. We want to name the old buildings z-Davidson old, so that we have the history from these buildings. We want to name the new buildings Davidson Elementary School (that matches what we used for the old building) and then we will add the new room numbers and the PDF of the building map. Will the staff and students sync to the correct building? As long as the building names match, it should work correct? Is there a spot to map the staff and students to the correct building?

Currently I have a filter set to specifically filter users with the role of “no access”, but that just filters all those users in alphabetical order and I have to manually click through multiple pages to find the user I’m looking for, and any other filters seem to only filter active users. The main user search only filters without that role as well. Is there a setting or something I can set to make it also search users with “no access”?

Is it possible to import parents and have them linked with students via SIS sync? Our district uses ESP

Is there a way to customize the user field UI or limit what a person sees based on their permissions? Currently when an agent looks at someone they are somewhat overwhelmed by information that is not relevant to them and we would like to limit the visible information for some roles.

I would like to bulk upload contracts to the user files.  The contracts have student id’s as file names, so it seems like there should be away to upload the files in bulk.

What methods is everyone using to identify users who should not receive an asset?  Is there an identifier whether it be different colored font on the user account that would alert anyone issuing a new asset or a specific field?Thank you.  

I am trying to view a user’s profile but I can’t see their setup since I am an admin but the user is set as faculty. Is their a way to sign in as that user without knowing their credentials?
