Recently we were doing an in person audit with our Intermediate school to test run the process before we roll it out to everyone. Our media specialist wanted a report to be made with each students Homeroom to see which Homeroom hasn't completed the audit yet. I can see an option for Homeroom mapping when i go into the settings of PowerSchool but there is nothing that comes up when i export a list of students. Would this be on IIQs side or would we have to look into it on the PowerSchool side.

I’m sorry if this has been discussed but I was wondering if there was an automated way that we could have a student’s account throw a flag up if they try to get more than two loaner devices per week.We have a massive problem where students won’t bring their loaners back and it’s causing a deficit in our loaner pool. This can lead to kids who generally use their personal device and need a loaner Chromebook for testing, unable to receive one due to none being available. We implemented a “2 loaners per week” policy to deter some regulars but it can be hard/easy to miss if there’s several kids in the room being helped. The limit we introduced has brought out loaner pool back to half instead of 0 like it was before.Ideally, it would be nice to have an automated system where we could limit the amount of loaners per week and it would automatically reset the “flag” at the end of the week. Has anyone tried allowing students to put in their own tickets and use iiQ? If so, have you allowed for students to use and what has your experience been?

I am attempting to set up permissions for the librarians/sysops(essentially a site admin instead of district wide) and have most of it down, but when it comes to users, the permissions say they should only be able to see users at a certain site, however, it lets them see anyone. They just get a read only marker for sites that aren’t allowed. Is there a way to actually hide the other sites in the permissions?  

I used to be able to view a student user and see which chromebook they last logged in to but recently that information has been removed. Is it on another screen that I’m missing? 

Good Morning,  Media Specialist would like to request a field to enter notes on a user.  There is a filed that exists however, we would have to grant them higher access such as edit user information. Curious as to how other Districts add notes to the user.

We have elementary teachers whose room numbers are marked as homeroom in Infinite Campus. Our secondary teacher’s room numbers are not marked as home room. Is there a way to add the room numbers from the courses the teachers are assigned?  We realize some secondary teachers would have more than 1 room assigned in their user. 

I have some users that can’t access the Academy to view the tutorials. I am guessing I have to check a switch somewhere. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Has anybody else noticed this?The # of students listed here doesn’t match the actual class when you click in to view the class.  

I have come across several students who for whatever resasons don’t have their powerschool information linked to their Google sso user.  I am trying to find a way to run a report that will give me a list of the students who have this issue, but I can’t seem to figure out how to accomplish this.  I was thinking of just doing a new view of “duplicate users” but I am not getting any results doing that.Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Looking for a way to prevent users from being able to open tickets on behalf of another user but not seeing this in permissions anywhere.  Anyone know if it is possible to do this?

I was wondering what field in GSuite everyone is using to map the School ID number to in IIQ? I was thinking of using the Employee ID field but I don’t see that as a mapping option in IIQ. Is anyone else mapping the School ID number in the Google SSO Application?

The Global Student Role doesn’t fit our needs, but it is Read Only.I’d like to set up a Rule to Automatically Add a Custom Policy for Students upon Student Account Creation in iiQ.I do not see an automatic method to do this.  Can it be done with webhooks?

We’re rolling out multi-factor authentication to our staff members next month. Even though we are hoping for an easy rollout, I want to be proactive in setting up a way for users to report an issue with this or if they have someone else report an issue on their behalf. Has anyone else gone through the process? Did you add Authenticator under User Accounts? It does not seem like there are default issues for this.I appreciate any help or direction.Thank you!

I have a custom mapping, but the mapping is no updating user fields. 

I know I can create custom views, but it can get tedious to have to do it for multiple technicians. It would be nice if I could search for an Agent, and then click the “Open Tickets” section within their profile.  Is this a feature that I’m not finding, or should I add it to the Ideas section? Thanks.

Hi I’m having a problem updating a few Custom Fields I created for my users. I’m using the Import template spreadsheet provided by iiQ. I am matching the iiQ users up with their ID number and omitting the first name and last name, email, usernames fields. But I’m getting this error “listed below”. I didn’t think that I need to include the users: emails, names, and usernames when updating to a Custom Field and matching just the ID numbers?Any help you can provide would be appreciated Ps: Is there a way to copy error information to the clipboard because I see that I might have not gotten all of it. hence the … at the end of the error code :: Error executing Sql because 'Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'FirstName', table 'iiq-prod-sqldb.dbo.Users'; column does not allow nulls. I am looking to generate user reports based on how many times they borrow loaner devices. Anybody know of a solution for this?

How can I create a report of the top users that have had tickets created for them or by them?

We have a ticket for our provisioning that we utilized the IIQ User Custom field, this worked flawlessly for a while. As of the other day, the staff role can no longer populate users in the IIQ User custom field within our provisioning tickets. Need assistance in figuring out how to reverse this. Thanks 

I want to allow select staff to view the owner of a device (search by asset tag or serial number) or to search a user’s name or ID to see which, if any, devices are assigned to them.  I am able to allow them to view all assets, but when I try to search for a user or their ID, i am not given the option, nor am I given any results. What user settings would allow a user to check items in and out of spare pools?

I would like the ability to impersonate / login as another user.  This feature would help with troubleshooting issues. If your user roles are configured differently, your UI will look different from theirs and you'll need to impersonate the other user to be able to see what they see.  It would also aid in proper setup, configuration and verify correct permissions.  Thank you for your consideration.
